Elounda

The pretty fishing village of Elounda has grown into the popular holiday resort it is today whilst still managing to maintain its age-old charm. The harbour is full of life where the colourful fishing boats bob in the water as the local fishermen land the day's catch.
The village square overlooks the waterfront and evenings are best spent here soaking up the atmosphere in one of the many open-air tavernas or bars.

Elounda is renowned for its impressive range of watersports facilities however, if you prefer to top up the tan on dry land, Elounda offers a large, man-made sandy beach.

During your stay do not miss out on a visiting the nearby tiny island of Spinalonga, a former leper colony.
