Sitia A town with a continuing presence and a historical life which has its roots in ancient times. It's characterized by ancient wisdom, the love of life, its timeless musical tradition. Today it has a population of 9000. The city is built in the style of an amphitheater on the eastern side of a hill sheltered from the west by the bay and is the first to welcome the sun which she is never without.
