Where to stay

THE DELINA
Set right on the main Elounda road about 15 minutes stroll from the harbour, the Delina has rooms and studios which are let on a B & B and Self Catering basis. All rooms have private shower or bath/wc and balcony. Some of the beds are Cetan-style, on a concrete base. The taverna is not always operational, but there are several restaurants within easy walking distance, and the small sandy Amoudi beach is just 2 minutes away.The Delina also has it's own swimming pool.

THE HERA VILLAGE
Set on the Elounda road, high on a hill, with beautiful views of Aghios Nikolaos, 3.5 kilometres away. The Hera is not recommended for those with walking difficulties due to the number of steps.
However, it has a large swimming pool and paddling pool, mini market, tv room, snack bar and pool bar.
It boasts it's own Cretan restaurant serving local dishes
and guests are accommodated in traditional style twin bedrooms with bathroom.

THE RENATA
About 7 minutes walk from the centre of Aghios Nikolaos, up a steep hill is the Renata Pensions and Studios. There are a number of twin bedded rooms with private shower/wc and balcony or patio, with the studios having kitchnettes.
Access from the Promenade road is up 70 steps, and is unsuitable for those with walking difficulties and the tranfer coach cannot stop outside the door.

THE KOUROS
The Kouros is a small friendly hotel, centrally located ( only 2-3 minutes uphill from the lake , 15 minutes from the nearest beach ) near tavernas and restaurants in the resort of Aghios Nikolaos.
The Kouros has a number of apartments, studios and twin bedded rooms available.There is a breakfast room and bar with money exchange facilities.

THE HORIZON HOTEL
From the centre of the village of Elounda, a steady stroll of a about 15 minutes will get you along the Aghios Nikolaos Road to the family owned Horizon Hotel.
The hotel is a Class 3 complex consisting of 2 floors with a total of 19 bedrooms. All rooms have private bathroom, telephone, music and balcony.
The hotel has a pleasant bar together with a well stocked supermarket both situated on the ground floor.
